Giant changes

Over the last couple of days we've been making some changes here at the Saskatchewan Science Centre. Some changes are big! Giant in fact! And some are little, but more sparkly.
The giant change is that we've been slowly changing an area of our third floor from an old farming exhibit to Anatomy Academy. For the most part it's Anatomy Academy, but there are still a few farming-related pieces laying around. Pieces like this guy:
And his pals:
Actually, if you know these two boys (who would be men now, judging by the style of clothing they have on!) please get them to call us. We can give them their full-size cutouts!
Life-size cutouts: big.
Giant ear: uh, giant!
The exhibits folk are up there working on this area right now, but as of Monday evening this is what they'd completed. Soon the floor will be re-tiled and the rest of the little room will have all sorts of things related to hearing in them. You'll be able to play with decibel levels and frequencies, and prove to your parents that your hearing is better than theirs!
Now, on to the sparkly changes. We've begun decorating for the holidays! The offices got a bit of love this afternoon, when Myrna, Amanda, Kim, and Sheila (not pictured) put up some garland, ornaments, and a tree.
And here is the view from the main office doors, for the full effect!
We did put the decorations up a little bit early, but we've begun hosting all sorts of holiday parties and we're kind of in a festive mood! Oh hey, if you've never been in our offices before, come on in! We like visitors and we can give you a behind the scenes tour if you like. You can ask for me if you like.
Stay curious,
Collette
