Take a field trip with your class this year to the Saskatchewan Science Centre. We’re located in beautiful Wascana Centre, one of Canada’s largest urban parks. The Science Centre also overlooks the Wascana Lake Migratory Bird Sanctuary, a federally designated migratory bird sanctuary.

What your visit will include

Your school visit to the Saskatchewan Science Centre automatically includes access to more than 150 permanent exhibits on our exhibit floor, free hourly stage show demonstrations, downloadable scavenger hunts, plus smart spending opportunities in Atom + Geek Science Shop. All of this is offered at a base price of $4.25 per student. Teachers with their class are always admitted free!

Workshops

We also offer curriculum-based workshops designed to supplement what you’re already teaching, or to help you introduce new concepts to your students. Workshops cost an additional $1.50 to $4 above the general admission price. Prices are indicated within the workshop descriptions.

IMAX Films

IMAX films are designed to educate and enlighten as much as they are to entertain. You can combine a film with your Science Centre visit for another $3.25 per student. If your class only wants to see a film, it’s just $4.50 each or a double feature for $7.50. View our current films here. Want a different film? Ask about our library prints!

Combos and special rates

Workshop and a Movie: Book an IMAX film with your admission and get any 30-minute workshop for free—or a longer workshop at half-price. Discounts are not available for bookings in May and June.

Pre-order concession treats: Save time and money by pre-ordering concession orders. A $1 discount applies to any Value Combos ordered two weeks in advance, which we will have ready for you before your film begins. Ask us about this!

Financial assistance: Groups who need financial assistance should consider applying to the Nexen Discovery Fund.

NOTE: Prices do NOT include GST.
