Sombre Anniversary

It's been five years since Hurricane Katrina. And randomly, I assure you, we happen to be playing Hurricane on the Bayou at the Kramer IMAX Theatre. We actually decided to play it because of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico; we thought it was timely.

Mammal Day

My dogs did some volunteer work for the Science Centre today. Today was "mammal day" at our Amazing Animals summer camp and one of the things the kids got to do was learn how to approach a dog they don't know.

Tornado watch!

Regina is under a tornado watch today (not as serious as a warning, but something to be taken seriously nonetheless) and I realized I'm not completely sure what to do in a tornado! So, I had a little look at this Government of Canada website.

Mascot challenge!

Last week I got to go watch something super fun! I watched a silly obstacle course race featuring our beloved Discovery Jones.
