Noon Year’s Eve, December 31, 2010

Celebrate New Year's Eve with your kids during the daytime. Kids will have a blast ringing in 2011 without staying up past their bedtime!

This is what we did to ring in 2010:

  • Make & Take craft activity (making party hats and holiday crackers)
  • cotton candy
  • hot chocolate and cookies
  • stage shows and wall climbing all day
  • face painting
  • performances and interaction with a contact juggler
  • sleigh rides outside (weather permitting)
  • Wild Ocean at the Kramer IMAX Theatre all day
  • plus a countdown and grand finale featuring the Big Bang Show!

Dec 31, 2010 will be our 5th Noon Year's Eve. Hope you can join us!

There's a whole year of science adventure at the Saskatchewan Science Centre.

From New Year's Eve to summer camps, we have a wide range of activities and events happening. Be sure to check back often as we update these listings.

Fun Fact

banana leaf

Banana trees aren’t really trees at all because their stems do not contain woody tissue. They’re actually herbaceous plants or ‘herbs.’
