October is Spooky Science Month

Hallowe'en is a special time of year at the Saskatchewan Science Centre. It's the time of year where we get to play with goo, make pumpkins explode, and even cut up eyeballs -- all in the name of science!

We’ll scare up a spooky science stage shows, spooky demonstrations, a spooky scavenger hunt, and a spooky colouring wall too!

Our 2pm Family Activities in October will feature a variety of dissections, where we turn the “creepy” specimens into learning tools for scientific exploration! While staff members lead the dissection and explain all the interesting features of the item, be sure to ask questions and get ready to be awestruck.

Also be sure to check out Anatomy Academy – it’s especially spooky this time of year!

There's a whole year of science adventure at the Saskatchewan Science Centre.

From New Year's Eve to summer camps, we have a wide range of activities and events happening. Be sure to check back often as we update these listings.
