About Aiden Bateman
Originally from southern Ontario, Aiden Bateman's love of waterfowl and prairie landscapes brought him to Saskatchewan (via Lethbridge, Alberta) in 2018. Now serving as Conservation Program Specialist with Ducks Unlimited Canada's Wadena office, Aiden works with farmers and other landowners in the Touchwood Hills area to secure critical wildlife habitat while meeting farm objectives.
Recently, Aiden took on an additional role, heading up DUC Saskatchewan's wetland restoration program. He now has a hand in coordinating the construction of restored wetland habitats that benefit Saskatchewan wildlife, people, and communities.
Wings Over Water tells the story of the epic journeys of three amazing bird families—the Sandhill Crane, the Yellow Warbler, and the Mallard Duck—with extraordinary footage of their fascinating behaviours.
Audiences will be captivated by the triumphs and challenges of these remarkable creatures that defy all odds and soar across mountains, deserts, cities, and forests as they head home to raise their young.
