2019 Bat Release

  • Saskatchewan Science Centre 2903 Powerhouse Drive Regina Canada (map)

Time to release the bats!

Each winter, with help from the University of Regina Biology Department, the Saskatchewan Science Centre provides shelter for bats which awaken from their hibernation too early!

Join us on May 8th at approximately 8pm when we release the bats with help from Dr. Mark Brigham and two of his students from the University of Regina. Dr. Brigham and his students will host a talk about bats beginning at approximately 8:30pm, and we expect the actual bat release to take place at approximately 8:50pm.

The Atom + Geek Science Shop and entrance will be open with access to public washrooms and drinks/snack (as well as cute, cuddly bat plushies!)
