Go! Code Girls Online Workshop

Go! Code:Girls program is specially designed for girls aged 11-16 years to introduce them with the world of coding. This free program focuses on teaching the coding skills, discussing possible career paths in coding, and connecting the participants with female STEM leaders from across the province. During 6 virtual sessions and 3 possible in-house sessions, girls will have the opportunity to explore the world of coding and learn about the challenges and successes of women in STEM programs. 

Schedule:

  • Online sessions will be from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on September 11, September 18, October 2, October 30, November 13, and December 11.

  • In-house sessions will be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on October 16, November 27, and December 18 (if advised).

How to Apply?

Applicants must fill out a short survey that the Go! Code team will assess to select applicants based on level of commitment to the program. Successful applicants will receive a free Micro:Bit to use during the program, as well as other Saskatchewan Science Centre goodies!
