Astrobiology: From the Dawn of Life to Space Exploration

Wednesday, June 17 | 9:30 am–11:00 am

Join us for an engaging Science Connections session featuring Melissa Kozey.

Astrobiology sounds like science fiction and, honestly, it kind of is. From The Andromeda Strain to Project Hail Mary, the idea of life in space has fascinated us for decades. Discover how real astrobiology compares to sci-fi, how we investigate the origins of life on Earth, and how scientists search for life elsewhere in the universe.

Participants will enjoy a 45-minute presentation, followed by time for questions, discussion, and reflection in a relaxed, welcoming environment. As with all Science Connections sessions, the morning also includes time to explore the Science Centre’s exhibit floor, and complimentary Caliber Coffee.

This session is designed to be informative, engaging, and confidence-building – perfect for curious minds interested in science, energy, and the future of innovation.

  • $13.99 per person — group rates available

  • Free to Saskatchewan Science Centre Members
