“Every Bird Counts – Your Observations Matter”

World Migratory Bird Day | Saturday, May 9 | 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

The birds are returning and we are celebrating! Join Nature Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Science Centre, and partners as we welcome the birds back to Wascana Centre on Saturday, May 9. This year's theme is "Every Bird Counts – Your Observations Matter." Community science participation in monitoring migratory birds and informing global conservation efforts is vitally important and during the event we will be turning our eyes to the sky (and water) to mark down our observations.

Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day at Wings Over Water 3D! See the epic journeys of three amazing bird families – the Sandhill Crane, the Yellow Warbler and the Mallard Duck – with extraordinary footage of their fascinating behaviours.

  • Saturday, May 9 - 10:30am
