Science Time for Tots: Bubble Art Science

Wednesday, March 11 from 9:30–10:30 am.

This month, tots will explore the colourful science of bubbles! Using bubble solution mixed with food colouring, children will blow bright, beautiful bubbles and capture their shapes on paper.

Bubbles may be temporary, but with a little colour, we can preserve their patterns. When food colouring is added to bubble solution, the dye binds to the water molecules. When a bubble pops against paper, it leaves behind a splash of colour. Even after the water evaporates, the vibrant designs remain – revealing the delicate shapes and patterns that bubbles create.

This hands-on activity encourages creativity, observation, and curiosity while introducing tots to simple concepts about evaporation and how materials interact!

Bring your little one for a morning of playful science, sensory exploration, and creativity, designed especially for toddlers and their caregivers. Enjoy complimentary Caliber Coffee while your tot learns through fun, guided activities.
